World's Most Cited Researcher in Mathematics Joins The CFK Board
Professor Adrian E. Raftery, a prominent University of Washington statistician identified as the world's most cited researcher in mathematics for an entire decade (1995-2005) by Thomson-ISI , has joined The Council for Frontiers of Knowledge Board.
Prof. Adrian Raftery and CFK Board Chair Prof. Fionn Murtagh have known each other for a long time, and obtained their first degrees (Mathematics 1976) at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. Not only Prof. Raftery's distinguished global experience, capability, connectivity and background, but his understanding of Science, Technology and Innovation developments in relation to Africa and more widely will hugely become a superior asset to The CFK.
Much seems to be predicated on global links and connectivity, so his own global top-notch knowledge of key linkages will alone be so worth so much to The CFK. VERY WARM WELCOME Prof. Adrian E. Raftery to The CFK Board and the entire CFK Community.
