CFK Director Named US Specialist Roster

Prof. Anthony Guiseppi-Elie, CFK Director, has been named to the Fulbright Specialist Roster (2014-2019) of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and the Institute of International Education’s Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES). You may learn more about this program at this web site. http://www.cies.org/program/fulbright-specialist-program

A recommended Fulbright Specialist Roster candidate is eligible for consideration for two to six-week grant opportunities through the Specialist Program in response to requests made by foreign academic institutions interested in requesting a Fulbright Specialist. Foreign academic institutions must make their request through their local Fulbright office which is either a Fulbright commission or the Public Affairs Office at the U.S. embassy. Under this program, grant support is provided to the Fulbright Specialist in achieving proposal goals of the foreign academic institution.

"If the non-U.S. institution agrees to submit a project request, they can specifically request a particular Roster candidate by name. Please note that Roster candidates cannot directly submit a project request and should not correspond directly with Fulbright commissions or U.S. embassy public affairs sections overseas. There is also no guarantee that a project request will be approved by the local Fulbright commission or U.S. embassy; CIES has no oversight of the project approval process. - See more at: http://www.cies.org/programs-us-scholars-specialist/find-specialist-project-opportunity#sthash.UeccAoGM.dpuf
